Milkweed Farm- September 11th

As the Fall Equinox approaches, each day is getting significantly shorter, and the air has a new fresh cleanliness to it.  Though there is a chill in the air and the beds are being prepared for winter, crickets still sing as we work the fields, paired dragon flies are joined in flight, and the ground continues to provide delicious bounty.  Your share this week includes: swiss chard, fingerling potatoes, leeks, onions, garlic, hot and sweet peppers, tomatillos, carrots, head lettuce, eggplant, beets, tomatoes, watermelon, and flowers.
